Cool, so now we got a plan sorted, the next thing is to get some payment options sorted. There are a few different affiliate marketplaces you can go through and they are all pretty basic to setup. The MOST IMPORTANT PART of being an affiliate marketer is being setup to get PAID. I’m sure you’ll agree.
Get Paid
You’ll definitely want a Paypal account. Click here to create a PayPal account.

There are more but these are three you will more than likely have to use. You can join others as the need arises.
Affiliate Marketplace
The next step is to find products to promote. A word of caution & some sound advice. Never, I repeat, Never promote a program you have not personally used or at the least know others who have used them and can honestly say that you can recommend to anyone. If you don’t want it and you sell it to someone else, and they see the product for what it is, what do you think will happen? First they will probably ask for a refund from the products vendor & then you will lose the commission, then, they will probably unsubscribe from your mailing list and start bad mouthing you and the products your promoting on social media and nek minit you’ve got a bad name. Even if your promoting really good products.
So when I say to use a product you know and love and want to share it with everyone, what do you think will happen if you have never used the product, never had the experience of what it is like? Do you think you would be able to write about how it has helped you? Of course not. There are countless programs that hype themselves up & when you actually use the product you discover it is nothing like the sales letter suggests. You need to actively spend money on a product, then ask yourself, was it worth the money spent or did you just flush your dollars down the proverbial toilet.
Be honest, you could even write a review describing how its good or bad. Your honesty can show people how one product is a terrible product that you should run a mile from, then show them the product that you absolutely recommend, much like what I’m doing here with the Four Percent Group. Sure you will spend some money on frogs, but every now and then your going to find the Prince Charming of your product search. And the people on your list will respect & trust you for only sharing gems with them. Now its time to join some marketplaces & start experimenting.

At the very least you should have a ClickBank Account since they are the major players in the affiliate marketing scene. They have NEVER missed a payment to their affiliates, so that is a major plus. I don’t know the exact figures but I know they have paid out Billions, yes thats Billions of Dollars to their affiliates. Join the others as needed.

In affiliate marketing you really need to discipline yourself to follow a plan, stick to it, follow it through and DON’T GIVE UP!
Tool’s: Pick’s & Shovel’s
Now the next step in this process is to utilise certain tools, the picks and shovels of your business you will have to use if you are going to be a successful affiliate marketer. This will also become a part of what is known as your MSI’s or Multiple Streams of Income. Although you will need to use these tools in your business, you will want to be earning commissions of all these at the same time. For example, GetResponse will pay you 33% commission, so if you started on the $15 a month plan, you would need 3 people to join at the same level to pay for your subscription, BUT, since not everyone will join at the starter level, GetResponse have members who will want HUGE subscriber lists. depending on the size of their list, the commissions start at $4.95 a month right up to $260 a month for their most expensive package.
These are the BARE MINIMUM TOOLS you will need to become a DOMINATING FORCE in the Internet Marketing Arena. They will also be part of your Multiple Streams of Income. You will need a Funnel creator, a tracking device to see where all your clicks are coming from, an autoresponder and somewhere to setup your own domain. I personally use & recommend Namecheap. Why Namecheap? I find them to be the most user friendly of them all, but its really up to you. You may have a domain already and thats fine. Just make sure you are able to integrate it with the system we are going to be using. If you are internet savvy then you can use whatever your comfortable with, but if your new to this, Namecheap is our recommended platform. Once you’ve decided which platforms you want to go with, its time to set it all up in a strategic way. First thing we need to do to make this all work is register a domain name with a Domain Registrar. I like to use Namecheap but you can use whatever your comfortable with. You might want to use another popular Domain Registrar like Bluehost.com. All have their advantages and disadvantages, for example, Bluehost.com offer some really good prices for their services offering a free domain & free site builder.
If you haven’t already you need to think of a name to register, use the search box located at the top of your domain registrar to see if what you want is available. Make it relevant. If for example your using the 7 Steps to Results as your affiliate promotion, then obviously its about internet marketing, making money online. You could have workwithyourname.com or something relevant to marketing. Don’t have “lose fat” for a make money site. You get the picture. Just make sure its a .com site, not .net or .org. Once you find a domain you want, go ahead and purchase it. A domain will generally cost you anything from $8-$13 using Namecheap. Thats money well spent. Now the fun begins.
In your Four Percent Group you will find detailed instruction on setting up your custom tracking link with your Namecheap domain name, Click Magick account & Click Funnels account. It’s fairly easy when you follow Vicks Video tutorials inside the Four Percent Group. Vick will walk you through the steps better than I can so I wont make things harder for you, we want you to get this right the first time so you can get of to a running start.
In the example below you will login to your Four Percent Group, this will take you to your Dashboard. Under the Marketing Center tab click on where it says 4%.
From the following page scroll right down to the bottom where you will click on the blue box called Funnels & Campaigns.
The page below will open up. You will have two options, the 7 Steps to results funnel & Show me the money funnel. Go through the whole setup process starting with ‘custom tracking link setup’, do that then move on to the next step, ‘autoresponder setup’ then the ‘tracking’ setup. Once you’ve done this go ahead and setup the ‘Show Me The Money’ Funnel.
Chicky Boom! You now have Two funnels setup. Once you’ve done this you will have some basic knowledge on how you can go and create your own funnels for yourself. But hold your horses. You really want to concentrate and put ALL your efforts into setting this up Totally ‘First’.
